Pastel Skies Cat Single Stem Vase

Cosmic constellations and sparkly gold stars. These details are painted on in gold lustre over the top of a beautiful scene of sunset pastel skies. This special edition kitty is rather pretty and is inspired by the skies outside my studio window.

Layers of glaze have been added over wax, to create the cloud design. The colours have blended when in the kiln. The gold lustre is added as a third and final firing to create these beauties.

Made to hold single stems and tiny blooms. Thrown on the potters wheel, with the ears and nose added later. Each vase is carefully illustrated. 

Measures 9cm x 4cm approx.

The piece you receive might not be the exact one pictured but will be almost identical. Finished with a makers mark on the base.
