Shipping

I ship worldwide and aim to dispatch all orders within 2 business days.

All orders are packed and shipped by me from the studio. I take a lot of care over this, and while I always aim to send pieces out promptly, please allow a little flexibility during busy release periods.

United Kingdom

UK orders are sent via:

  • Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For, or

  • UPS Express Saver for larger or higher-value pieces

If you’d prefer a different shipping option, you’re very welcome to get in touch and I’ll do my best to arrange it (additional costs may apply).

International Orders

Please note I no longer ship DDP (Duty Delivery Paid)

To keep international shipping as clear, reliable and cost-effective as possible, I now offer a choice of couriers at checkout. This allows you to decide between speed and cost, depending on what suits you best.

Shipping options

  • UPS Express – faster delivery, ideal for higher-value or time-sensitive orders

  • Royal Mail International Tracked – a more economical option, with slightly longer transit times

Both services are fully tracked.

From experience, quicker shipping does reduce the amount of time ceramics spend in transit, which can help minimise the risk of damage — but I know speed isn’t always essential, so I've listed two options which hopefully should help.

USA & Canada

Orders to the USA and Canada can be sent via UPS Express or Royal Mail International Tracked, depending on what you select at checkout.

Please note:

  • Import duties, taxes or tariffs are not included and may be charged by your local customs authority

  • These fees vary by country and are outside of my control

I know international charges can be frustrating and sometimes unpredictable, so I’ve structured shipping this way to keep costs as transparent and flexible as possible at checkout.

Europe

European orders are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked, unless UPS Express is selected at checkout.

Estimated delivery is usually 5–10 working days from dispatch, though this can vary.

Please be aware that import VAT and customs charges may apply, depending on your country. These are set by local authorities and are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

Rest of the World

For all other international destinations, orders are shipped via Royal Mail International Tracked or UPS Express, depending on the value of the piece and your selection at checkout.

Estimated delivery is usually 7–10 working days, though delays can occur.

Any import duties or taxes charged by your country are the responsibility of the recipient.

Important notes

  • Dottir Studio is not responsible for customs charges, import taxes, or courier delays

  • Once an order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided so you can follow its journey

  • If an issue arises, I will always do my best to help, but I have access to the same tracking information as you

Please note!

If a parcel is returned to me because it could not be delivered to the address provided:

  • The original shipping cost is non-refundable

  • Any re-shipping costs will need to be covered by the customer
