Shipping policy
I ship worldwide and aim to ship all orders within 2 business days. I do all shipments myself but I try my best to get orders out as quickly as possible to you.
United Kingdom
I have provided the option of Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For or UPS Express Saver for larger higher value pieces. If you would like another form of shipping, send me an email and I can arrange it for you but there might be an additional cost.
International
Customers in USA and Canada - I use UPS Express Saver. They have proven to be the better courier over the years and they get your order to you quickly. The less time ceramics are in the post, the less chance they have of breaking! For smaller pieces I use Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed. They're pretty good too, it just takes a bit longer to arrive.
US Customers - All orders are now calculated at checkout for DDP - Delivered Duties Paid. I know the tariffs have been difficult for everyone to keep up with, but hopefully this way there's no nasty surprises for you once an order arrives.
European Customer - I send parcels Royal Mail International Tracked. This means they usually arrive within 5/10 working days of posting for Europe. All orders are now calculated at checkout for DDP - Delivered Duties Paid which is included in the price of your order. Hopefully this eases over any unexpected Brexit headaches once your order arrives.
Customers in The Rest of the World - sorry to bunch you together like this, but all other customers, I ship parcels Royal Mail International Tracked or UPS Express Saver, depending on the value of your order and what you select at checkout. This means they usually arrive within 7/10 working days of posting, maybe longer. Please be aware there might be import taxes to pay in your country. Dóttir Studio is not responsible for these so please keep that in mind.

I will do my very best to assist you if there is a problem but I usually have as much information my end as you do with your tracking number **
Also, please note that if an order arrives back to me, as the courier was unable to deliver it to the address you supplied, I am not responsible for the cost of re-send it nor will the cost of the initial shipping be refunded if you request a refund.
