Use of the Website
This website is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable or impair its operation.
I reserve the right to restrict or refuse access to the website if these Terms are breached.
Products and Descriptions
All work is made by hand in small batches or as one-of-a-kind pieces. As such, variations in form, surface and finish are a natural part of the work and are not considered defects.
Product descriptions and photographs are provided as accurately as possible, but colours and details may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.
Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in British Pounds (GBP) and include applicable UK taxes unless otherwise stated.
Payment is taken at the point of order using the payment methods available at checkout.
I reserve the right to amend prices or withdraw items from sale at any time without notice.
Contract Formation
When you place an order through this website, you will be asked to confirm that you accept these Terms.
A legally binding contract between you and Dóttir Studio is formed only when you receive an order confirmation email. Until that point, no contract exists.
Delivery and Risk
Delivery options, costs and estimated timelines are set out in the Shipping policy.
Risk in the goods passes to you once the item has been delivered to the address provided at checkout.
Consumer Cancellation Rights and Returns
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you have legal rights under UK law to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, and to return goods within a further 14 days, in accordance with the Returns policy.
These statutory rights exist in addition to any other rights described on the Returns page.
Please note that commissioned, bespoke or personalised items are non-returnable, as permitted under UK consumer law.
Refunds
Refunds are processed in line with the Returns policy and will be issued to the original payment method within the required legal timeframe once returned items have been received and checked.
Damaged Items
If an item arrives damaged, you must notify me within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the item and packaging. Guidance on next steps will be provided once the issue has been reviewed.
